FAQ

Who's your Mob?

I'm a proud Yorta Yorta (Wolithica), Dja Dja Wurrung and Gamilaroi woman. I was born and grew on on my Grandmother's Country in Shepparton, about two hours North East of Melbourne.

Who's your family?

I am descended from the the following lines:

  • Ada Cooper (Yorta Yorta)
  • Henry 'Harmony' Nelson (Dja Dja Wurrung)
  • Lesley Saunders (Gamilaroi), though I am still discovering my Gamilaroi connections.

The description says that your prints are printed on ‘cotton rag’ material, what is cotton rag?

All of our prints are lovingly printed especially for you by our partners at Upstream Colour in Northcote, Melbourne. The type of paper used for printing is called a Textured Cotton Rag, and is of archival quality. This is a textured, matte paper. Cotton rag is not like clothing fabric.

An item I want to purchase is noted as pre-order, what does this mean?

As a small business, we sometimes launch a product as pre-order. This just means we do not purchase anymore than ordered - in turn this reduces waste.

Please take note of the estimated delivery date detailed in the product description to see when your Yarli Creative product is expected to be delivered.

From time to time, we experience production delays. If and when this happens, we'll be in touch to provide updates.

What is the best way to get in contact with Yarli Creative?

While we're pretty active on social media, like Instagram, messages via social media are easily lost. We strongly recommend that you contact us via email if you have a query about your order, wholesale or collaboration.

Do you offer local delivery or collect and collect?

More to come...

What is your returns policy?

While we do not provide refunds for change of mind, you can return your item and we can provide you with store credit equal to the amount of your purchase, or exchange your item for another of the same value. If you decide to exchange your item for an item of lesser value, you will be issued with store credit to make up the difference.

Exchanges must be made within Fourteen (14) days of purchase. The item must be in the same condition as purchased, in any original packaging, and with proof of purchase.

Please note that you will be responsible for covering all shipping charges as a result of a change of mind return or exchange.

Unfortunately, for hygiene reasons, we are unable to offer an exchange on our face masks.

How do I return an item?

Fill out a contact form and we will be in touch to process your return for you.

Do you keep stock on hand?

How can I track my order?

You will receive an email with your tracking number once the order has been fulfilled to confirm that it is on it’s way. You can then input this tracking number into the couriers website to track your order.

Please refer to https://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/calculate-postage-delivery-times/#/ for accurate delivery calculation to your area.

Why haven’t I received a tracking number?

If you have not yet received your tracking number it simply means your order has not yet been fulfilled. We deal with a high volume of orders at times and which can lead to delays in processing. We really appreciate your patience, and just know that your beautiful item will be well on it’s way as soon as possible!

Why is my order taking so long to come?

Yarli Creative is a small business who invests in local manufacturers and partners to produce its products. This can sometimes mean that wait times to receive your products can be longer, but be assured they are being made with love and care for you to cherish. If you are concerned about your order please email support@yarlicreative.com.au and we will get back to you with an update.

Why is my order only partially fulfilled?

Our prints and canvas prints are printed and shipped by our external partners. This means that you will sometimes receive your order in two or more parcels. An email will be sent automatically with your tracking numbers when items are fulfilled and this email will outline which item is on its way.

My product says it has been delivered but it is not here or I can not find it?

If you’ve noticed a ‘delivered’ tracking update: on your tracking page but the parcel hasn’t actually been delivered yet, it could be because the parcel was scanned in advance by mistake. Don’t worry – the parcel will be with you by the end of the day.

If you can’t find the parcel: Have a look around your premises. The driver could have left it somewhere safe (but not obvious) like the back door, front gate, mailbox or garage. You might even want to check with a neighbour or colleague (if it was delivered to a work address) to see if they accepted it on your behalf.

If you’re worried the parcel is missing: Launch an investigation into the parcel’s whereabouts via the tracking page (https://try.sendle.com/tracking) using the 6-character reference number (eg S3NDL3).
